More Taiwan (while I was away) Updates

No words can describe how much I love the TV in Taiwan.
There were so many channels that I can't decide on which 1 to watch!

The best thing was, I actually managed to catch 恶作剧二吻 Episode 1 (12omin special) in Taiwan!
Woots!!
I didn't know it was the premiere on sunday and just accidentally saw the starting singsong part of the show. I literally screamed in the room and my brothers jumped to silence me.

Dang! The trip to taiwan kinda killed my English. My vocabulary dictionary seem to have backfired after all the Taiwanese Mandarin.
Throughout the entire trip, my kor and I were heavily influenced by their slang.
Only my didi, the angmoh-fied ACian find himself struggling with constructing a Taiwanese-comphrehensible sentence in mandarin. 12 years in banana-fied school doesn't help in Taiwan, u're not considered as ABC cuz they can tell u're a singaporean.

After admiring my Bonjour Paris Photobooks, I noticed something, something that overwhelms me so greatly that I'm still very excited right now.

I found out that....
I ACTUALLY HAVE THE SAME FASHION SENSE AS MY NO. 2 JUNSU!!!
Remember the Converse shoes I bought (mentioned in the previous post) in Taiwan?
Junsu actually wore it in the Bonjour Paris Photoshoot Book 1.
Although hiss converse is the high cut ones, but it's the exact design!!!
I'm still Freaking Out right now.
I have no idea when I bought it. I swear!
I was stuck between 2 designs and my Dad thought this pair was nicer. I Love My Daddy So Muchh!!

If some say I just have the same taste as the stylist, then let me inform you that Junsu was wearing it when he just arrived at Paris, when the other 4 boys were shouting at him across the road. Those who are fans would know that he didn't go paris with the 4 boys on Day 1 cuz he had to film a CF. Junsu wore those pair of Converse shoes on the plane, off the plane and to the photoshoot.

Btw, the Yunho's 2piece ring that I ordered on a blogshop made alot of appearances in the photobook on Yunho (duh!) and Jaejoong's hands.

Well, I missed Junsu's birthday celebration in Thailand :C
The fancam of Junsu's birthday celebration made me laugh and cry.

So much Yoosu Love, as expected.
So much cake fight, as expected. They never actually ate birthday cakes properly. It seems like a tradition to cake the birthday boy.
And his Signature Laughter will never change.

Heard from sab that SeungRi sprained his ankle while I was away. Oh Dears!
He even insisted on performing with his injuries. Argh!
And she said he looked like he was in alot of pain. *My heart shattering*
Hope he's feeling better now.

Btw, bought a pair of boots in Taiwan, not sure if it's mine or my mom's but I think it'll be sitting in the shoe cabinet for quite a while. I'm not even a shoe person to begin with, and Junsu's Converse Sneakers are my favourite right now. I'm wearing nothing else other than slippers, of course.

So, I was wondering who's in charge of my Gift Exchange this year. Alvin and Chengwei called to ask how much (a rough estimation of the total sum) I've spent on TVXQ.
Their guess:
Alvin - S$500
Chengwei - S$1000 S$700
My answer:
I'm not sure myself. Ask them for my guess.

Does this mean these 2 boys have something to do with my gift exchange?
Anyways, I'm done with my part of the gift exchange. I'm sure this person will like what I'm giving.
I'll give u a clue: It's partly to redeem my guilt-stricken doings.
Sounds serious... but actually it really isn't.

I watched it and rewatched the ending MV like at least 10 times.
That's how deprived I am during these 10 days.

I'm Back!

All my diet plans before the vacation went down the drain.

• Dunkin Donuts every morning, since it's just outside my hotel.

• Red Pearl Milk Tea every morning, since it's just beside Dunkin Donuts

• Ding Tai Feng (Originally from Taiwan) Dinner, which includes 50 xiaolongbaos on top of 1 bowl of noodles each pax.

• Ah Zhong Mee Sua (Most Famous Mee Sua in Taipei) just nearby the hotel

• Taiwan's ver. of Oyster Omelette (don't know how to write that down in here), specially from the store that 小猪 learnt to cook for the show 转交遇到爱.

• 牛肉面 is everywhere.

• 炸鸡排 is excellent.

• (麻辣) Steamboat is the best on a chilly night.

I like the food in Taiwan more than the place itself.
The TV was also Fantastic!! I can watch TV all day and be more than satisfied for that day. =D

Best of all, coincidentally, we celebrated my parent's 25th Wedding Anniversary in the country where they had their 1st Honeymoon.
Except this time, they dragged 3 bothersome fat kids along with them. We had our most sumptuous dinner in Taipei that night and drank to our hearts content.

Next, I'll start off with my Trophies from the trip.Well, didn't manage to get the converse sneakers Yunho wore in the Smag photoshoot, but I got 2 things better. C=
My dad thought these pair were more worth his money. Whatever, he's the one with the credit card.
To console myself and make up for the Thailand Concert I missed on the 15th and 16th, I got this.

Promised the uncle not to leak out how much he was selling me at, since it's his last set.
Well, the calender is an unofficial item, but what the heck, they did a good job printing it. It's not as cheapo as those you'll probably find in places like Comics Connection.And remember this picture from the Smag photoshoot? Yunho was wearing the converse sneakers, which I didn't get in the end because I found something else.
The watch! It was my 2nd Best Buy on the trip =D
First of course was the Bonjour Paris boxset.
There were a whole load of other things, but they can't be shown on film since it's presents for my lovely friends.

There was quite abit of stardom fantasy during the trip.
The biggest star I probably have met was F4's Ken Chu (not sure if I spelt his name correctly, but he's the 'fattest' member). He's actually not very fat in real life. In fact, he's freaking tall and big. Average size for a man his height, that means the other 3 members are too skinny.

The other 2 stardom fantasy are for people who catches on the Taiwan Entertainment News.
2nd on the list is a member from 星光帮 (第一班).
I'm not sure of how to write his name in mandarin, but he's our age and the guy who left the group and joined another company to venture solo in the biz. I would probably spell his name as Ru Xue Rui.

3rd is another band whom only those who watch Taiwan shows will know. 强辩乐团 was performing somewhere in Taipei. Couldn't take a picture of them, since there was quite a crowd, but I admit I wasn't really interested. I was more engrossed in the Converse shop beside the stage.

There probably won't be any trip photos posted, since I'm not very keen on sharing scenery shots, mountains and rivers to bore everyone to death.

But I am however, Suuuuperr deprived of Kpop. So this is what I'll be offereing to my Kpop friends.

A little back-dated, but I can't be blamed since my hotels either don't provide free internet service or even if they do, their computers suck.

Kpop Crazy Panda

Common Test just started this morning at 8.30am and it ended at 10am.
With a just repaired computer and a hectic lifestyle, I only started "mugging" the day before.

Taking it slow, reading word for word in the day, and rushing to do speed memorising at night.
I manage to cram most of what was covered in the Revision Lt by 5pm and I still had 2 more hours until my trip to the exam hall. With the urge to just leave it as that and depend on luck, I popped into bed and fell asleep, praying that I'll be able to wake up in 2 hrs time.

Not bad, I only slept for 30minutes more, but that also means that I must cab to school. The paper was somehow tricky, or maybe I was just not functioning well. I really shouldn't have slept.

My initial intention was to go home, nap awhile and then do some vacation necessity shopping after that. But the girls suggested to go Town, which I can't seem to decline when PS (comics connection) has been calling out to me for ages. Ultimately, I only got 1 TVXQ item, which does not satisfy my hunger for more. Taiwan!! Here I Come!!!

Met up with my brother straight away at Vivo to get some holiday necessities (1st aid, medicine, etc.) and headed home immediately.

I thought I would head to bed instantly, but the temptation of Kpop is just too much for me to handle.
At the very same moment, I'm talking to my 1st Dong Bang friend about TVXQ and in another window, sab and I are discussing abt Big Bang.
In another window, I'm doing TVXQ online shopping.

Up to now, within 48 hrs, I only spent 2hrs sleeping.
For some1 who used to sleep at least 10hrs a day, I'm having a great time torturing my brain, but pampering my eyes (with Kpop).

After my laptop almost saying RIP to me, I realise the importance of Yunho in my life.
Since then, I rank Yunho (and TVXQ) 1st in my life,
then school work (which also gave me inconvenience during the time my laptop went into coma)
and thirdly BigBang.

So I sincerely ask all readers to take a good look at my WISHLIST section and preferably Memorise it. *Winks* =D

This is going to be a very long entry

After my laptop crashed, I had more chance to use the other computers at home. Only then I tried using IE to update my blog and realise the ugly fonts in my navigation column. I'll change it soon.. bear with it.

My blog's adapter died out of the blue, leaving me in a fix, panicking at the most crucial online moment of the week. There were tons of elearning assignments to submit and there was a useless chat log at that moment where the teacher failed to turn up despite reminding us to log on punctually.

So when the repairman came just now, out of convenience, I asked him to fix my USB port problems and he reformatted my com (the 2nd time already). My D: and E: drives are intact, only my C: drive is affected. Which means I'll need to go back to school to install programs like Microsoft Office, etc.

Spent the entire afternoon reinstalling programs, but because I wasn't prepared, I lost quite a few things: Sims 2 saved game, Bookmarks, History, etc.

But I'm guessing the laptop is giving me less problems now.

I feel cheated (x2)

After RED Camp, we only have 1 week for the X'mas Roadshow at NP Orchard Road.It's my 1st time in my entire poly life when I spent 2 consecutive Saturdays in school for projects.The Saturday just before the Roadshow, we spent it decorating NP Orchard Road (basically it's the stretch of common way from the library to Co-op).
And then we've got the Sunday to rest and Monday is the start of furious hard-selling.
There were a series of performance arranged for the Roadshow and the best were still the Barracudas. They were Excellent!!

Another Saturday spent in School for SMM report.
Mr. Yik complaint about our class being too overzealous on our work/project.
At least I had some satisfaction after that when we travelled down to VivoCity for SMM research on Golden Village.
Did some shopping, bought a crocs pumps only because my mom suggested on sharing a pair and she offered to pay for it.. so why not?
Much needed retail therapy will be satisfied on my trip to Taiwan.

He had everyone to celebrate for him.

Other than turning 17 like everyone else, he didn't do anything to deserve it.
Instead, he did everything to not deserve it.
But being unconsciously bias, my mom got it for him, naively thinking that she can buy him over to make him change for the better.

Clearly portraying a different image from TVXQ, and has an average age that's 2 years younger than TVXQ, and they are waaaay shorter than TVXQ (and TVXQ has preeeettier complexion). Their dance routines are very different from TVXQ as well.

Big Bang is from YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment's strongest rival. YG concentrates more on talent and skills than looks (obviously), but SM has the whole package, their artists/trainees must look good and learn the skills in order to get picked.

But no matter how talented or skillful one is, looks is still an important factor in this industry, so the boys in YG can't be too ugly, they should at least be decent looking that's package-able. Somehow, there's gonna be 1 or 2 good-looking dudes in a band.

Let me introduce to you Lee Seung Hyun, stage name: SeungRi. He's only turning 17 this december. Bloodly hell! SeungRi is 3 days younger than my didi la!!!!! (and he's 10 cm shorter than Yunho!!)
And I always have a 2nd on my list: G-Dragon, real name: Kwon JiYong -- leader of the group. Same age as me (= But debut in YG Entertainment a looooong time ago.

Somehow I can't seem to find enough patience to watch Big Bang videos... I start screening and skipping parts of the videos, which is strictly a No-No when I watch TVXQ videos (I can rewatch and notice every detail of the boys).

Therefore, I conclude that my TVXQ Love is still safe (althought I'm listening more of Big Bang music & skipping TVXQ's recently).
