Na is very tired, toasted, bruised, and adequately satisfied.

The moment I reach college at approximately 9AusPm, it was the shower and then to the bed.
Oh... wait... I did went online for a short while to see the faces of my Darling TVXQ and gave a shout out to my brother's always online but afk msn account to inform them that I'm back in 1 piece.

Slept allllll the way and couldn't wake up in time for lunch. What the heck. Tuesday's lunch sucked anyways.

I only woke up because I had to go meet a friend... took a bath and found bruises all over my arm and shoulder. It is definitely from the overdose of rollercoasters. More on that later.

After wiping off the mist on the mirror and turning on the lights for a closer look, I saw 2 tones of skin colour on my arm, neck and shoulders.
Dammit!
Surfer's Sun is lethal!

Harbourtown was shopping for my Sg Lovelies. Got almost everything for everyone who replied, who is really only 1 person (excluding KK orders). Which means everyone else is getting Koala Keyrings.

By the end of the last day, I was rushing home to my laptop.
SERIOUSLY!!!
Getting a vacation when TVXQ just started their Major Comeback Promos is Effectively Na's Torture Chamber.

At every bus/train ride, all Na did was to listen to TVXQ's Mirotic Album.
At every rollercoaster queue, all Na can think of is TVXQ's Inkigayo Comeback Special.
At every cashier queue, all Na can think of is Sukira's DongBangSuJu Love!! HYUKSU!!!!!!
And by the time I got home, all Na can think of is, "Let's just take a (long) look at their beautiful handsome faces before bidding goodnight."

Now that I'm back, reading all the News/Screencaps/Gifs/YTs/Fancams.... I'm soooo tempted to download all the videos. BUT I CAN'T!!!!!! Not yet... at least.

This is what's gonna happen. Rach's(College Kaki) mom is here for the mid-sem break and she's staying in a lodge nearby with FREE INTERNET!! So, for the entire week, Rach is gonna bunk in with Mummy and Spam Download TVXQ Video Request for Na.

Seriously, people ask how will I really know if he's really a good person in reality. It is during times like this that one can't lie about who he really is. And My Honey really do care about people like me; an average crazy fan girl who ogle and mob him from head to toe all day long.

Or even if he doesn't, pulling a complete stranger away from an incoming car seems like a good deed that came from inside him. It's his instant reflexes that made him pull the girl back. He couldn't have thought though how people perceive him, how he should portray his good person image, how he needs to be a kind soul in front of everybody in a FLASH!

Once again, Na is Spreading the TVXQ Love in Aussie Land and has produced almost the same results as the last.
This time, it's my 2 Taiwan friends..... well, technically half-taiwan friends.
The girl is all Taiwanese but she's studied here since High-School, which means she's here for a loooooong time.
The guy... is complicated. Pure Taiwanese Parents, but he's born in Philippines and his parents reside in Philippines. He has homes in both countries and Australia. And it gets even more complicated but let's not digress.

So, it turns out that the girl knew about them and used to like them. However, she can't recognise them anymore, except for 1 person.

Na Shrieks Again!!

I'll only blog about 2 pictures of the TVXQ mini concert press con, which was ytd.
Lemme explain.

Take a look at the first picture I've chosen. No matter how hot my Yunho Honey looks, the first thing I've noticed are the major blinding malfunctions. I see an inspired Andre Kim style in Jaejoong and Changmin. Baggy coat with too much details on Jaejoong and a Horrendous head of Changmin tat I'd have mistaken as painted on. What's with that shape!?!? O.0

And then, no matter how glarring the malfunctions are, Na's basic instinct is to move her eyeballs to where Yunho Honey is and stare at him for an unbelievably long time.

Out of Every TVXQ member, my Honey looks the best.
Seriously!

Junsu's squirrel fringe, Yoochun's I-do-not-wish-to-comment head, Jaejoong's wardrobe malfuntion and Changmin's sad sad haircut all sum up to 1 conclusion:

A few moments ago, I booked my hotel in Gold Coast, which make the entire trip so much closer now!!
I can feel the approaching adrenaline I'm about to experience.

Since the start of assignment due dates, I've been asking people what are their ways of releasing stress.
Mine was to scream to the ocean in Sentosa, or if not, I'll just scream in my room/at my brother.
Now that I'm in a place where the walls are thinner than baking paper, I don't think I want my neighbours to think that I'm anymore psychotic.
The TVXQ screams are tortorous enough.

So in Brisbane, I've concluded that I'll have to pay 120AUD to scream my hearts out in Movieworld and Dreamworld.
And then, more retail therapy at Harbourtown for the extra Shiokness.

1 more school week and I'll be off for my Stress Relief Therapy Trip!!

Btw, y'all hafta watch Gossip Girl Season 2 and ANTM Season 11!!
I just love the college network!!! It's amazingly addictive!!

Gossip Girl Season 2 started out pretty intense, and the characters in the show kinda grew up alittle. Not in the more matured way, since Cat-fight and Scheming has never been maturity.

I stopped chasing ANTM since it has evolved to be super commercialised. It's like the contestants are chosen because they can add drama to the show and not because they really can be models.
Well, Season 11 is definitely drama-mama!
Still, the fact that after the 3rd episode, there're 3 Unbelievable characters revealed in amongst the models makes me wanna keep watching it.
There's:
1 Trans (pre-op),
1 Bi, and
1 Fake Boobies.

Yunho Overload

It may be the mere coincidence that the college is mowing lawns in the spring, thus stirring up flower pollens.

But my friend insists that it's the new TVXQ 4th Album teaser picture that made my left eye swell up.

Just 2 minutes after I've seen that picture, my left eye started growing lumps on the lower lid and swell in another minute.

Before I saw that picture, I was ogling at more SM Town pictures of HoRella (Yunho + Heechul) and HyukSu (Eunhyuk + Junsu) and lastly YunJae.
Plus a few Yunho and Kyuhyun, and Hankyung, etc.

And my friend alerted me with the new teaser release.
BAM! I got stroke.

For the 2 minutes of starring before my left eye swell up, I could only see Yunho's *ahem* Hot Bod.
I couldn't even see Yunho's face.

After the swelling happened, I started taking a step back to see the rest of the picture.

Seriously, I hope they would stop at that.
Na's reasons:

So when Na found out that the choreography of Mirotic (a word that SM came up w) was choreographed by a dancer (Kenny Warmold) from the movie "You Got Served", I went to dl it straight away from DC (college intranet).

Dammit!
If TVXQ is gonna start dancing like that, I swear I can love them forever more until I turn 80.

"You Got Served" is a typical dance movie.
Genre of dance is closer to Step Up 2 than the first Step Up.
But I'd say, if anyone watched "Stomp The Yard", it's pretty much like that (w/o the stepping).
Hip Hop, B-Boy, Popping, Locking, Krumping, and a whole load of Freestyle.

I'd love to see B-Boy Yunho, as long as he stays safe and intact.

The next SM Town Concert would be on the 29Nov in Bangkok. Rumour has it that it may be cancelled or postponed because of the unstable politics right now. But since nothing is confirmed, I'm still assuming that the show will go on.

Just when I thought I'll have my chance to see HOT SEXY YUNHO, the Bangkok Army Commander has to ruin it for me.
If you've been wondering, my mom forbids any travelling to Thailand while the stability of the country is uncertain.

For some consolation, S.Korea is under the list of countries under consideration for the year end family vacation.
Nothing has been confirmed since the fat brother thinks S.Korea would be too cold to visit in December.

She attended the press conference with a cast around her left arm.
Na says: Well, Bitch of Asia must have broken her arm while trying to lift America up into her mouth.

Because of that, she missed the SM Town concert in Shanghai.
Goodie.. otherwise I might not be able to take the trauma of knowing how close my Honey and Darlings are with her on (and off) stage.

Well, my Uni Dong Bang friend and I have been having alot of Great Kpop conversations lately, and we shared some pretty hilarious stuff too.

I can't believe how narrow-minded Singaporeans are.

If any of you can get your hands on subscription of straitstimes.com (well, I guess you don't really have a point to bcuz you're not overseas), try reading the forum section. Not the letters that the readers write in, read the comments on the letters.

When I first heard of the news that the Govt wants to build hostels near Serangoon Gardens for Bangalas (My Dad's co. calls them that and they don't mind it at all), my first reaction was:

"Isn't that area filled with big houses? Wouldn't the property prices drop?"

Erm... well, not that I have a problem living near Bangalas, because for 1 thing, my neighbourhood is filled with them (because of the Expressway construction, and then the Circle Line construction).

And then, just a few moments ago, I read on straitstimes.com's forum that there was a letter on how Singaporeans are pathetic to think that way and we should have some heart for the Bangalas.

The readers' comments were:

"Ask the govt to build a 1,500 dorm next to Mr.LetterWriter's (unrevealed name) house!"

Na: HaHa! That was funny.

Then there was one who digressed to how A&E in public hospitals are all packed and he/she had to go to private hospitals now, whom I assume is blaming the Bangalas for that.

Na: WHAT!?! Are you kidding me? This guy needs to go back to school! (or step back into reality.)

And another person, who's acc name ends with a "1977" says that this Mr.LetterWriter has vested interest bcuz maybe he has Bangalas to find housing for.

Na: Hmm.... wait a minute... that sounds familiar... Oh! My dad does that too!

Seriously.
Not that I'm discriminating or anything, but isn't there somewhere else to settle these people?
Because if the dorm is really built, the govt is really messing up the demographic stigma in residential estates.
To be fair, they should build a dorm in Bukit Timah as well.

The 2nd teaser photo is Sexier than the 1st, but the 1st has an artistic touch to it. So if Na can't decide which banner to use, she shall use both. Who cares if it looks disproportionate, live with it. TVXQ makes everything perfect.

I don't think I'll need the 3 Worlds in Gold Coast on the 1st week of October to satisfy my cravings for adrenaline.
The soon-to-be-release TVXQ album will rush my blood levels to a new record.

Which reminds me, their pre-order broke a new record (in Korea, i think). 200 000 pre-orders on Day One. Imagine the actual sales. LSM will be partying in his sleep lar!!!

The last week of Sept and first week of Oct would be Na's Big Spending Weeks.
Loads of Videos, Pictures and Songs to dl, so I'll need to start stocking up on download quotas.

After dinner at West End (another suburb across the Brisbane river frm UQ), I have no idea what did I do to my glasses, but the screw was lose on one of the leg thingies.

*Panic*
I didn't bring (well, I dont really have) a pair of spare glasses. So I survived the rest of the night, in contacts.

Today, going to optician was pretty scary.
Not the dentist (beside the optician) kind of scary, but the "Kaching!" kind of scary. The prices of the glasses in Aus were rocket high!

A pair of glasses would cost $250 min. and not to say those are probably the fugly ones.

Why so ex? You may ask...
In fact, it is quite reasonable if all of them are actually branded frames.
D&G, Prada, Ray Ban, etc.

The little Na angel on my shoulders is trembling at the exorbitant prices, while the little Na devil on the other side is telling me to try it on.

I did.

They managed to fix my glasses, with no gaurantees that it'll not break if I'm not careful in the future, because it's alittle fobby on the metal already.

Then, the little Na angel sigh in relief while the little Na devil was stomping her feet in anger.

Better luck (or not) next time.

I break my own rules

I have my own principles in life and I hold on to them firmly so that I won't lose myself. These principles make up the personality and characteristics that I possess. If I break them, I'll lose my sense of direction.

Right, that sounded serious.
But what I'm really trying to say is....

I once swore that I'll never use Facebook, but as some may have noticed, I was recently seen active in that online community.
And now I hate myself for that.

I'm not giving in to the fun and entertainment that people seem to enjoy on that community.
Instead, it's the distance that leads me to find an extra channel to stay close to home.

So on one hand, I'm losing myself because I broke one of my own rules.
But on the other hand, I'm breaking my rules so that I won't lose too much of myself from being away for too long.

Get what I mean?

So concisely, this entire post is to announce that Na is active in Facebook. But don't try to shoot me or buy me or rate me online, because Na is still not amazed by the "wondrous" applications in there.

I spent 1hr removing/ignoring all those useless applications to clear my page. How is that entertaining!? o.O
Nono.. joining in will feel like I'm playing the adult's version of Neopets. Stab me.
Spare me my download quotas.

Now that my flight home has been confirmed, there's a sudden urge to fly back immediately.

In my case, homesickness strikes when I know exactly how long more I have until I return.
Somehow, I'm subconsciously striking off the dates on my calender, counting down till the day I can go back to Jalan Mat Jambol.

I don't get it.

Ooo! Wow! 1 post per day for this week! I really have alot to say! wahahahaha!
So I tracked back to find my last TVXQ updates on Na's Haven.

To my surprise, I found a huge disparity between my pre-departure posts and my current posts.

90% of my pre-departure (not counting those I blogged 1-2 days b4 I fly) were on TVXQ and in the remaining 10%, I hardly talked about my life.

In my post-departure posts and more recently, in my settled-down posts, the ratio has been inverted. And to my horror, my blog is turning into a content-boring typical mindless girl diary.

Before u know it, I'll be writing stuff like:

"Today, I woke up at 9am, brushed my teeth and had eggs for breakfast. I meet up with XXX in AAA shopping mall and bought YYY. Then, I met up with BBB and XXX, BBB and I had CCC for dinner....."

Oh, and you don't feel it yet because experiencing life in a different environment is supposed to be refreshing and thus, curiosity is what keeps this blog interesting to my Singapore Lovelies nowadays.

But this is precisely what I've been avoiding.

Rather than telling you where I go and what I eat (like who cares?), I very much prefer to write my thoughts and feelings because *ahem* it sounds deeper.
I might as well tell you how often I take a dump and what I do with it (just kidding! I don't do anything to it other than flushing it down <-- Dammit! I just blogged abt what I do with my poo).

Then again, I might be thinking too much.
Afterall, I was told to update my blog often so that people will know my current status in Aus.

And to be honest, I'm blogging to kill time and procrastinate. I dread working on my assignments so I need an excuse to get out. If u haven't noticed, the lack of TVXQ is due to my download quotas.

Be assured that Na's Haven will be back to normal in 2.5 months time.
Oh wow! only 2.5 months left until I see Sunny Singapore!
I'm still not convinced that I shld reveal the exact date of my return. I assume it's because of the uncertain reception I may receive judging from the farewells I got b4 flying. I'm not entirely sure myself.

Na's current status (syndromes): Na is away from home for 2 months - starts missing local delicacies.

I backtracked and found that my last post with tvxq updates was on 23rd July. An entire month of August with no TVXQ updates. Only mentioning my darlings a little here, and... no there at all!

Mad Maid 3: The End

Omg.. i can't believe there's actually a sequel to my Mad Maid 2 entry.

Neways, on Sunday night, my maid decided to put up her disappearance act again.
It's not sure how many times she has pulled if off since the last one, but her alarm clock played her out again.

At approximately 2.30am, my lawyer brother decides to watch some tv in the living room. (Yea, we do that quite often, the kids don't sleep until the sun is gonna rise.) My fat brother was in the hall on the 2nd floor using the computer (playing rather than studying, I presume).

Once again, the alarm clock in the maid's room went off. It was almost like dejavu. My brother opened the door to find nothing but thin air, and went upstairs to wake the folks up.

My dad's first instinct was to head to my room's window (my spy window, where I always have a clear view of the main gate) and there she was, returning home. I think I might have passed spy-skills to my dad.. otherwise he wouldn't have headed straight to my window to find her walking home so coincidentally. Oh yea, I was the one to find the maid hiding behind my neighbour's van (with my instincts of course) the last time she sneaked out.

Oh, and when my mom knew my maid just got back, her first instinct was to lock the doors, because she knew my maid only had the keys to the gate and not the doors.
*Oh Dear*

Yea, my maid sat at the porch until 3am, when my mom decides to let her in and listen to her explanations.
I wasn't at the crime scene, but I know my mom well. During this half an hour, she would have thought of a solution to this problem and talked it out with my dad.

Her explanations were (not her exact words):

Maid: Ramadan starts tonight and I thought I can go and do some exercise.
Na thinks: Exercise at 2am in the morning!?!?!

Narrates: Obviously my parents won't fall for that excuse, so they continued probing.
When my dad first saw her walking back, she was holding a plastic bag in her hands, which was no where to be found during the interrogation.

*My 2 brothers went to search the porch and garden and found the plastic bag*

Maid: It's not mine. Someone might have left it there on Saturday. I swear it's not mine.
Na thinks: Hmm.. she's quite smart to conjure such an excuse.

Narrates: There was a family gathering on Saturday where all my relatives went to my place for pot luck. Again, my parent's didn't fall for that. My dad saw her holding that bag lar! So they continued interrogating.

Maid: No no. I never go out. I was sitting outside waiting for the door to open.
Na thinks: Wow.. her story really evolves quite abit from the first ramadan exercise story.

So, my parents decided that this woman is not to be trusted anymore.
They bought her air tickets and cancelled her work permit on Monday. The flight was on Tuesday, and my family will be left with no maid, and no part-time housekeeper (cuz the part-time housekeeper is pursuing her studies in Aus) for a very long time.
It's only in times like this do the guys in the house realise the importance of the part-time housekeeper's existence.

Oh! And...
For all you know, she has a (bangala) boyfriend outside whom she meets up regularly.
And remember the black magic incident where she has to go home (indo) for 2 weeks?
She might have gone back to get an abortion la!
She could spin tales to get herself out of trouble this time, I don't see why the other stories in the past were not lies as well.
OMG!
With me out of the house (I'm the only one who stays at home all day) there's nobody home to watch her!

That Bagala (if there really is one) might have trespassed and slept on our beds!!

I mean, it makes sense right? I'm not in Singapore, I'm not using my room, not sleeping on my bed, so the chances of me finding out someone used my bed is ZERO!
My room faces the main gate, so it's perfect to spy on anyone entering or leaving the house, so the chances of the maid using my room is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!!

RiverFest 2008

In Brisbane, the sun starts to set at 5-ish and turns dark completely at 6pm. It's alittle different from Singapore and I'm not really used to it yet.
So at 5pm, we set off to the South Bank, across the river from the city, to watch the magnificent display of Fireworks at 7pm.
We didn't need 2 hours to get to South Bank from school, but we had to get there early to chop seats right? Typical Singaporean... but No. The Aussies were there since 3-4pm to get comfy good seats. Most of them decided to have a picnic before the fireworks, a handful gathered all their friends and drove a BBQ pit to the park for a pre-fireworks party.The event started with a count down to 7pm. I was like, "What were they counting down to?" And a fire jet swoop down at close proximity over our heads. It freaked the hell out of me (and alot other people around me).
So the 30mins long fireworks began. Fireworks were put up along the river, but the main show was at this bridge. The main show was partnered by occasional fireworks coming out from the top of the high-rise buildings across the river. They plant fireworks on every place you could set your eyes on. Under the bridge, on top of the bridge, from the river, both sides of the bridge, on top of buildings, etc...
After it ended, we had trouble finding our way back. The buses were full, the queue to the ferry was so long, I couldn't see the jetty from the back. I didn't even wanna try the train. Well, in times like this, my legs are my best bet. If you can see from the 1st picture, the white wheel in the background is That far away from me. This is how far I walked and more.
And when we get too tired of squeezing in between people to get our way through, we would stop to capture a once in a lifetime memory.
So, the wheel was once behind us, but now, it's across the river. Yea, we crossed a bridge meant for cars (no worries, the bridge is closed for pedestrians that night) to get to the other side of the river. I didn't realise how much we walked until I got back. But then again, do I always walk that much back in Sg during our night walks?
Neways, I managed to catch a CityCat (ferry) frm across the river, where the queue is 5times shorter than the one at the event grounds.

Technology Chaos

Since Sunday morning, all the (communication) technology around me has been showing signs of malfunctioning.

First it was my laptop. Because of a stupid program tat supposedly can tweak the internet download quota, my laptop couldn't connect at all for 1 entire day.
Fortunately, it was the 31st, and when I woke up this morning, seeing a whole new 200mb in my account, the internet was back.

And then, at 4am in the morning, when my less than a week old samsung phone went low batt, I tried to plug it in to shut it up.
It turns out that nothing was charging and it was still ringing.
Never wake Na up in the morning. NEVER.
Well, the phone wasn't intentional, so I let it pass.

So, i skipped lunch and went straight to the retailer (since it's only 6 days old) to see if i can get an exchange. If I can't (which will make me hopping mad), I'll still have time to travel to the city where Samsung service centre is.
It turns out that it's the charger's fault. The people were discussing the solution and I was like, "I can't possibly buy another charger!? It's only been less than a week!" So the salesman was like, "Yea, we'll change 1 for you."
*Na breaks into a smile*

Oh... my return home ticket has been confirmed.
Looking from the current situation my life is in right now, I'm not entirely sure if everybody is interested in popping champagnes for my return. So, PM me if you wanna know the details.
