Sweet Eyeballs

Eye candy is a little too subjective, so I replace tooth with eyeballs.

Erm... in case people start wondering if I'm gonna turn psycho (or gay), I do get visually aroused by good looking men/boys.

One of them, in particular, made me anticipate the strenuous Friday afternoons. For that reason, I always look forward to the last class of the week, Service Marketing. Which, btw, is suppose to be pretty dull for me because i'm kinda repeating SM in NP.

I really could skip that lecture every friday and end the day/week 2hours early, but this cute dude glues my ass to the freaking chair.

Oh, did I mention that he looks like Shawn Yue frm the side profile (only)??
*Yummy!*

I'm pretty sure I also forgot to mention about the part where Yunho will pop in my head everytime Janice asks me to make a move.

*whispers to myself*
"Shucks! I am a psycho."

I might die a widow, holding Yunho's photo(s) in my arms with hundred cats dogs barking a medley for me.
*Shivers*

Post-Excessive-Marketing-&-Research-Consumption Effects
Out of curiosity, may I know if my picture (in the prev post) with Vegemite in my hands influenced anybody to want to eat vegemite or might want to go try vegemite or probably pop into NTUC to go find vegemite?
Answer truthfully.
Because I just realised that that picture looks like a freaking advertisement.

Hooked

For 3 days in a row, I've been piling up books, notes and journals in front of me just for the assingment due 30mins ago.
30mins after 4pm, I am delighted to have conquered Na's first assignment in University of Queensland.
Seriously, I didn't expect such a big jump from a Poly Graduate to an Undergraduate.
I've never mugged so long and so hard in my 20 years of (reluctant) pursue in knowledge and wisdom.

Somehow, when I am drowning in the sea of academia pressure, I found an escape route for a moment of freedom. I am addicted to sinful pleasures.

I'm addicted to Vegemite lar! And it's suppose to be a sin for a Singaporean to eat it here.
Well, at least according to the college Singaporeans, it is bad because Vegemite smells like petroleum.
Quite frankly, it kinda smells abit like beer if you taste it intently enough.
Maybe that's why Aussies love it for breakfast, a substitute for beer.
And I do love the smell of beer.

Oh. I'm not sure if i mentioned this before, but after I got here, I bought myself a new phone (a Samsung phone cuz its Korean). 3 weeks ago, when it just turn 1 month old, I spilled soup over it and I had to get it fixed for 266AUD.
Therefore, my mom agrees that I should get myself another 1 instead.

After 3days of cooping myself in the room for 1 stupid assignment, I'm gonna head straight to the shopping mall tmr and do some retail therapy!!
To hell with the monthly budget already!!

*speaks to myself like a mental*
"i'm gonna get a new phone.... a tv card... mascara... Little Miss tees... beer... "

Random Ramblings

Last night, a korean college friend (doing masters) told me that I looked like Jang NaRa.
I was alittle dumbfounded, but I thanked her nicely and left the dining table (I was already getting ready to leave when she came to talk to me).

Go google the name, or wiki it.
She's pretty famous in China, maybe because she's not doing very well in Korea.

My deductions on Yoochun's Head:

It MUST be the inspiration from Rain (Bi).

Rain cut really short during his I'm Coming Tour and then Yoochun snips it off for FITB album.

Rain leaves it long and Yoochun doesn't bother cutting as well.
Maybe Yoochun did leave the chase for a short while when he had his horrible highlighted sideburns. But it was probably the work of a Japanese, not the usual uncreative Korean hairstylist.

Rain cut and blow his hair into a bowl and now Yoochun has his weird bowl with a tail (i reckon a spoon-inspiration?) sticking out on the sides.

Now Rain is spotted in Beijing with a new hairdo, 1 I reckon Yoochun will finally look normal in...

The question is, will he follow suit?
He just changed his hair along with the rest of the group.

Maybe in a month's time, when the 4th Korean album is due for it's photoshoots / MV shoots and release.

But on the bright side, now Everyone in TVXQ has considerably short hair!!
*Pops Champagne*

The things they serve in college:
An unsually long saussage paired with a hotdog bun.
They should have enough common sense to either cut the saussage up or provide longer buns to accommodate the length.

Found in Coles Supermarket's Asian food section (just 1 shelf worth of things to buy), an unsually flavour snack.
The thing is, the snack isn't Asian, only the flavour is.
How Queer.

On to something less appetising,
The College Common Toilet:

Well, I don't use them myself, but my kakis do.
For some reason, Aussies seem to have a unique way of using toilets.

They either use the bathroom door like as if they're the Incredible Hulk,
Or they don't seem to know the difference between a Shower and a Toilet.A kid took a dump in the shower, in the middle of the night, we reckon, because the shit wasn't there before my friend went to bed.
The next morning, this was left on the shower door.
No one knows who's the culprit, but the note was gone by the afternoon.
Guilty!

Fun Fact For The Day:
Most Ang Mohs can't seem to spell "You Are" in short.
Instead of "You're" they always seem to think that it's "Your".
Funny how after you tell them their mistake, they still don't get it.

Cheers!

Letting go (or not)

I thought by throwing out my honest unhappiness before leaving, relationships would have gotten back to their original states, as they were.

1.5 months after my departure, I realised an unforgivable truth/lie, which shattered the feelings I once treasured firmly.

The truth is, it was (probably) all a Lie.

even if the defendant insists that it is not a Lie, but the truth just evolved with time, then I'd be scared to know what it'll be like in 3 months time.

2 months ago, I was devastated by the fact that the Lie still exist in my life.
No one reassured me that the Lie will not reappear again.
in fact, I naively think the the Lie will just cease to happen because I made a big fuss out of it.
Right now, when I have no way to display my anger to show that it matters, I see the Lie appearing in the lives of those I (want to) treasure.

It has always been: If Na exists, the Lie will not. If the Lie exists, Na will not.
The Lie and me do not coexist.
Now it feels like because Na has left, the Lie can finally come out in daylight again.

This Lie has caused me detrimental pain in the past, and it is back to haunt me again.

Maybe you are right, I should gradually let go and accept the changes 3 months from now.

So much for everyone thinking that I'll change because I disappeared for 4 months.
I didn't see this coming: Everyone else making the change while I'm away.

Although most of the time I say I'll let go and forget, scars are permanent marks that remind me of the past.
I am really stubborn and there are scars that will forever hurt even after it's healed.

I am not being childish playing the "primary school girls backstabbing" game. This is pure grown up dislike/discomfort caused by painful childhood nightmares.

I think i might want to step out of the game and let the Lie live.
What's the point of holding on?
Maybe if the Lie refuses to leave for good, I will.

There is no choice in this matter because since the day the Lie decides to pin excruciating pain on my life, the Lie has already made it clear.
For the rest of my life, either one of us will survive and the other will cease to live.

Since the Lie has managed to make a comeback, I might retreat forever.
We'll see how it goes in 3 months time.

Reasons behind: Na in Australia

You want to know why Na is in Australia slogging her brain away, out of the comfort of home and family??

Answer: Globalisation.

Abstract from channelnewsasia.com
SMU admits record 1,660 undergraduates this year
By Valarie Tan, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 16 August 2008 2043 hrs

SINGAPORE : Singapore Management University (SMU) admitted a record 1,660 students into its undergraduate programme this year.

The intake is the largest ever for the university.

SMU held a welcome ceremony for the freshmen on Saturday.

It is the university's ninth intake of new undergraduates - and 17per cent of the cohort is from overseas.

The majority are from India, China and ASEAN countries.

Taken/Credits to www.channelnewsasia.com
Read the full story here: http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/368742/1/.html

So that's where all the vacancies went to.

Then again, compared to here at UQ, 17% doesn't seem that bad. Because here at UQ, I'd guess that 30% of the cohort is from overseas. There'res freaking A FEW HUNDRED FRESHMEN SINGAPOREANS for this semester alone!! Consider 5 other semesters of students who are already in the school!!

I see/hear/feel Singaporeans, Chinese, Hongkongers, Koreans, Japanese, Malays, Indians, Filipinos, Burmese, etc. EVERYWHERE EVERYSECOND.

So this is what has been going on to the world eh?
Schools recruiting more international students because they pay more $$$.
I hate Globalisation.

On a brighter note, SM Town's Seoul Concert was held last night.
TVXQ was spotted in a new hair and as usual, yoochun was looking hideous. He just dropped to hades in my list.

Blog Title Banner is taken from the concert.

I don't like my darling yunho's hair when it's not styled. But i Totally FEEL it after slapping on some wax and hairspray on his crown. Yummy!

Sexy Magnae Changmin changed his hair colour!! and hotter hair!!! He's as old as me but i feel super childish right now looking at his concert pictures. I wanna grab him and tear his clothes apart!!
ok.. figure speach.. don't take me seriously. Do you really think I'd cheat on my darling?

Junsu.......... he is sexy and hot.
ok.. compared to the rest, he didn't really change much.

I'd have to agree with sab. Jae looks fatter in the concert. I'm most definitely sure that it's his hair.
Don't be mistaken. I'm totally rejoicing if he really did gain weight bcuz these boys are freaking anorexic.
But just before I can start popping champagnes for my dear Joongie, it really does seem like he looks fat only because more of his face is showing after the hair is gone. The rest of his body still looks anorexic.

And they wore uniforms.
It's the exact replica of their debut uniform while singing Hug.
They appeared in the uniform singing Hug.
Awww... How cute?

The Best Part is.....
YUNJAE STRIPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YUNHO & JAEJOONG S-T-R-I-P-P-E-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Top naked.
Yoochun also stripped.

OMG LAR!!!!!
ONLY FAN PICS ARE UP FOR NOW!!
I'M STILL WAITING FOR FANCAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I TOTALLY FEEL LIKE MISS PERVERTIC WOLF WAITING TO ENGULF MY 2 SIZZLING HOT (cute) PIGGIES!!!!

Thanks sab for updating me on so many things!!!
I owe you big time!! ^^

Something that Non-Kpop fans would understand.

EKKA
dunno what it stands for but it's Australia's Agriculture Festival where farmers come to the city to display/exhibit/sell/compete their harvest and herd.

Every year, they will hold a week long of a humongous fun fair where you can find all sorts of contemporary country style entertainment in the city.

Ladies and Gentlements, the College Kakis have arrived at The EKKA Exhibit.
Na love her tours and that's a different Ferris Wheel as the one on top. There are 3 Ferris Wheels in the entire Exhibit. Just shows how large scale their "Fun Fair" can go.
And since it's suppose to be an exhibit of Farmer's harvest and herds, there's gonna be animals and vegetables.
These chicks just hatched out. And I watched a Chick Hatch!! OMG! it was disgusting.
How cute.. there were also piglets and calfs. The piglets run too fast to take a picture and the calfs were... not as cute.
These puppies were gonna become shepherd dogs one day... I think..
I just thought this one is too beautiful to miss. It's abit lazy though... no matter what we do, it won't budge.
And the horses were amazingly beautiful! The owners specially cleaned and combed them just for the Exhibit!
I'll skip the cows... nothing interesting really.

Bananas are one of my many favourite fruit. I could chomp down a bunch of them, which makes me the Banaminator at home... and the Durianiator as well. Apparently they had trouble finishing durians that my Dad's worker got for him last week. That's when they start to realise my non-existence.
That picture was put together by some really colourful vegetables that I'm sure they are not chemically enhanced or protected.... pretty sure... hmm...

Enough of the boring stuff.
Let's see Na (and her college kakis) Pigging Out!

Some Excellent Strawberry Sundae ($4 each which goes to the Prince Charles Charity Fund), a Must-Have recommendation by a few seniors in college.
It looks obscene (in a guy's point of view) and it's called a Dagwood Dog. I saw alot of Aussies eating it and I thought, "Ooo... an Aussie Fun Fair snack. I wanna try one."
Not that fantastic.. I rather eat college food.
Now this is what I call (snack) food. Dutch pancakes found in the International (not Asian) food section of the Exhibit. I'd eat more if it wasn't for that stupid Dagwood Dog.
And to top it off, I had an Extra Large serving of Australian Milk... Mmmm.. Yummy!

Enough of eating and let's have some fun (and spend some money!)
I've been temporarily branding myself these days... First it was henna which is kinda faded already and now Air Brush Tattoo.
It used to last for more than a week back in Sg when I did it in Far East, but it's almost gone now as I'm typing this. Oh Well.

And I got myself a (Baby Milo) Hoodie!! WooHoo!!
What's The Price?
A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words:
I've checked. It is Authentic... so YES! a (subsidiary) BAPE Hoodie for me!!

And lastly, Showbags.
It's like goodie bags that are not free, but sold at a cheaper-than-retail-price price.
No.. the spongebob bag is not mine.
Yes.. I have spongebob fan friends.
:
:
:
C'mon.. I'm your Kpop fan friend, how rare is that!?

But I did get the Supre (and CLEO) showbags.
Here's the prove:
Erm.. I didn't get pictures of the showbag before unloading it, but this will do right? It's from the showbag.

That's All Folks!

Oh My Friend

Big Bang Comeback on Inkigayo!

Stand Up + Haru Haru + (my personal favourite) Oh My Friend

Thank goodness they release their album a month before TVXQ does so I can spam and scream at their songs guilt-free.

Oh My Friend is Pure (Different) Goodness.
I'd love to introduce it to my (lawyer) brother if he was with me (i was with him) right now.
I kinda stopped using the word Big Brother ever since I came here and saw Big Brother.
It's like a song that MayDay lovers would love.
So Rock and Edgy!

So I've been spamming the entire album and Oh My Friend is my absolute Favourite followed by HaruHaru.
Everytime I listen to the album, I just can't help but think that GDragon is such a talented kid!
He raps, composes, sing, dance, produce, create his own fashion all at the age of 21. Give him a few more years and he could run a record label and sell his own barbie on stage. He didn't even finish High School... i think...
and he has 2 great buddy choreographer and the tall electric eyes cool dude in his boyband!
YG sure knows how to find talent.

and I have to add this in...
SM sure knows how to carve out skills.
They've got vocal powerhouses and dancing machines that runs on turbo batteries. Not to mention the composers-to-be who is willing to do night owl slavery just to fight the talented competitors a piece of the pie. Their songs are of different genre so u can't really compare them.

a little more wont do much harm right?
That leaves with the last DSP who picks up rejects from the Skills Factory and struggle with the Talent Time competition but still ends up with a fair share of the pie. Thank goodness they could beat the Talent Time with pretty boy faces and escape the Skills Factory with appropriate timings.

Too bad for them this end of the year as the competition heats up and everyone throws their No.1 into the battle field to fight it out.

TVXQ is so gonna be sweeping all the No.1s!
I Am Damn Hell Sure.

Only Kpop Fans Understand.

Reasons behind: Tears of Homesick-ness

Everyone blogged about 080808, but I thought 090808 was a little bit more meaningful in my context.

You see, when u're alone overseas for a great period of time, an event like Olympic is really no tear-jerker when everyone else around you is showing enthusiasm and interest in what is possibly the world's greatest event/festival/competition/celebration.

So when it boils down to something less major in scale that only affect approximately 4.5 million of the world's population, it is kind of a big deal for a girl like me who left the 4.5 million other people whom I can (kinda) relate to, including those dearly missed (approx.) 40.5 people.

And when you exit the seemingly less impressive (but more heartfelt) parade live telecast at 11pm, welcomed by a bone-freezing chill on every inch of exposed skin, the 30 degrees celcius doesn't seem that bad after all.

So, on 090808, I paid IH (International House; my 1st choice college in the beginning but not anymore) a visit.
As you can see from the flags, and as the name suggests, the place is International (not Asian).
And why am I there?
They have this "food fair" going on, and everyone in school is invited. Since it's free-entry, why not go see how my ex-1st choice college looks like... and coincidently get an impromptu Henna as a souvenir.
I finally manage to get my self-designed initial Na's logo as a (temporary) mark on my body. And the other hand, is Lina's. She's my First Friend in Brisbane. How we met is quite a story full of coincidence. I'll leave that for another day.

And ever since people knew that I was coming to Australia to study, 1 friend realised that I was gonna miss NDP on TV this year. However, with advancing technolody throughout the world, this friend of mine insisted that I stream the NDP live in Aussieland. The reason being, she's performing.
Okays. I had a problem since I have download quotas. Thankfully, the Singapore Student Society in UQ has kindly organised a Live Telecast Event for the parade and so, this part of the post is specially dedicated to CZW.

To Zeewee: Evidence that I really did watch NDP.
Ok, bad evidence, but these are my alibis.
and the screen cap I chose to prove that I was watching.
These VIPs should be enough to prove my innocence.
And if you need a clearer picture of the alibis, just in case you wanna call them in for interrogation.....
Btw, we are the college kakis.

So, That's All Folks!

P.S. a random f.y.i.
This was found in the central laundry room in my college, and one of the college kaki (featured above) saw used oneS in her common toilet bin.
Please Practice Safe Sex.

What I've been up to::

Time seems to be crawling everytime I think about Home.
but Time would always turn into Superman with Super sonic speed when I think about my assignments and assessments.

How Annoying.

BA Homecoming Dinner '08.
Anyone going?
Nono... I'm not looking for some1 to go with me (unless u're willing to sponsor S$2k of 2-way plane tickets).
I know I won't wanna attend this dinner if I wasn't in Australia right now, but this dinner really make me wanna see all my friends again.
And after reading Glawu's blog, I went to rewatch the TB12 Tribute video, and *tears* I realised how much I missed everyone and the Good Ol'days.

Why is the word "lecturers: underlined?
Like they kinda overestimated themselves!?
There ARE lecturers whom will drive students away from the dinner, you know?
E.g. Chua *cough* K***g. *goosebumps*

Yunho-Deprived-Girl
So if you think Australia is gonna keep Na away from all things korean, think again.

I was told that these Korean Mini Marts are all over the city, and probably chinatown.
*Eyes Glimmering*
Sweeeet!

The last clique of friends to intro on Na's Haven:

College Kakis
This was a self-taken shot using a timed camera, so pretty much effort was used, so stop complaining about the shadowed faces.
Oh, and this is the largest lake on campus, with a fountain.

Not that I love to brag about my campus, but I really love this place to pieces!!
It's Gorgeous!!
Not the school though, I have my reserves on that... academically and service wise.

1 Month Anniversary

Nothing worth celebrating, but has anyone realised? It's been a month since I left Singapore.
Which probably explains why I don't feel homesick anymore.

1 month down, 4 more to go.
I can't believe I'm actually counting down to the day I leave this place. I always thought this was the best chance to escape everything, but instead, I find myself missing the Good Ol'days.

As expected, I'd wanna run back to my comfort zone at every chance I get and the next opportunity is 4 months away.
This is after all, someone else's home.

To add on to my troubles, school is getting stressful. The pressure to score well or even hang on to a pass is getting to me. The foreign academic system and rules makes the "effort-&-rewards" theory so uncertain that I think I've lost the old (un)academia Na, who's turning into the kiasu Na.
The only thing that doesn't change is the distractions that stop Na from burying her face in books and notes: TVXQ and lappie. ^^

I'm tired, so talk to the pictures instead.
